Fine Arts
In fine arts I concentrate
in drawing and painting figures, particularly women figures.
In the series of Women paintings I tried to portray Asian women
embodying the traditions of the past while living in the present.
I used birds as an iconic metaphor to carry over traditions
linking the past and present. The surreal colors in the paintings
evoke a fantasy-like environment, thus brings the viewer to
an in-between space that is neither past nor present, East
or West.
